Project: When it came time in 2010 for Hollywood Theaters to redesign our idea was to keep it visually simple and technically smart. The site recognizes your geo-location based off your IP address, it then uses that data to present you showtimes for the theater that is closest to you. We were able to work with Fandango to pull in featured content like trailers and box covers, etc. It’s all about the user and showing them want they want. A large marquee dominates the site and let’s the nice studio artwork shine. At the footer are rows of seats, a simple design cue to make the user feel a part of the movie going experience.
